The working group led by the Chairman of the Forest Committee, Vladimir Kirakosyan, met with the heads of the “Forestry” branches of the Forestry Committee, “Hayantar” SNCO of the Forestry Committee, deputy directors in charge of protection and forest chiefs.

The core of the meetings is the organization of forest fire fighting activities and their proper implementation.

Issues related to monitoring of possible forest fire situations, prevention of fires and assessment of necessary capacities, quick response, fighting against fires, measures aimed at preventing the spread of their consequences were discussed.

Forestry employees presented the current works (forestation, reforestation) and existing problems to the committee and the leadership of “Hayantar” SNCO.

The preliminary plans of the works to be performed in 2024 were presented.

The Chairman of the Forest Committee urged to clearly observe the specified schedules while carrying out the current works, to ensure a high rate of efficiency.
