On March 7, at the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, under the leadership of the Director of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Deputy Minister of the Interior, Colonel Kamo Tsutsulyan, a meeting was held on the monitoring of possible forest fire-dangerous situations in RA, fire prevention, assessment of necessary capabilities, rapid response, fire fighting, 2024 of the interdepartmental working group created for the purpose of preventing their spread, as well as implementing measures aimed at eliminating the consequences. the first session.

Among a number of issues, current issues of the organization of work in forest areas were discussed with the newly created Ecopatrol service of the Ministry of Environment, for the purpose of effective organization of which, a joint working document will be signed between the two departments in the near future, which will provide an opportunity to carry out work in forest areas and lands, as well as in specially protected areas of nature. to organize preventive works more effectively and to minimize the risk of fire outbreaks.
