Today, a procedural meeting-consultation was held at the Chairman of the Forest Committee, Vladimir Kirakosyan, with Sevak Markosyan, director of the “Hayantar” SNCO, and the heads of the “Forestry” branches.

During the meeting, the works related to afforestation, forest restoration, care and existing problems were discussed. Summary data of the current year, as of August, were presented. Special attention was paid to the field of afforestation and forest protection.

• The chairman of the committee tasked the managers of “Forestry” branches to be consistent in planning and executing all works according to the schedule, to predict and assess possible risks.

• Timely and quickly carry out redistribution of necessary functions in order to ensure the performance of all the works outlined in the annual plan.

• Establish control mechanisms in the direction of proper performance of works.

The chairman of the committee also informed that it is being planned to create a unified platform for the consumption of timber from forests, which will be aimed at the organization of systematic and fast work.
