Chairman of the Forest Committee, Vladimir Kirakosyan, along with the director of “Hayantar” SNCO Sevak Markosyan, met with the head of the Lori Marz Department of the RA Police, Colonel Artur Zakaryan, as part of a working visit to Lori Marz.

The main topic of the meeting was the organization of the activities of the forest fire fighting working group created by the Prime Minister’s decision and their proper implementation. Issues related to monitoring of possible forest fire situations, prevention of fires and assessment of necessary capacities, quick response, fighting against fires, measures aimed at preventing the spread of their consequences were discussed.

Issues related to the completion and verification of timber sales documents by forestry enterprises were also discussed.
