On 09.12.2022, in Lori Marz, in the area of “Tashir Forestry” branch of “Hayantar” SNCO, “The Green Climate Fund project ‘Forest resilience of Armenia, enhancing adaptation and rural green growth via mitigation’ will significantly contribute to the implementation of the strategy aimed at strengthening forests’ enormous capacity to mitigate against climate change, primarily through reducing forest degradation, planting new forests, and managing existing ones,”according to the technical specifications.

The mentioned studies were carried out by Sergo Atanesyan, the first deputy chairman of the Forestry Committee, Vigen Chilingaryan, the advisor to the director of “Hayantar” SNCO, and Ruben Velitsyan, the director of the “Tashiri Forestry” branch.
