Chairman of the Forest Committee, Mr. Vladimir Kirakosyan, first deputy chairman of the Forest Committee Mr. Vardan Sargsyan, director of “Hayantar” SNCO, Mr. Sevak Markosyan visited to Syunik marz and held end of year meetings with managers and employees of “Forestry” branches located in that marz.

During the meetings, the current works of the branches and existing problems were presented to the leaders of the Forest Committee, and possible solutions were proposed.

The preliminary plans of the works planned for 2024 were discussed, the mechanisms for the clear distribution of the functions and activities of the employees due to the creation of the Eco-Patrol service were presented.

The director and employees of “Zangezur” biosphere complex SNCO were also present at the meetings.

Chairman of the Forest Committee, Mr. Vladimir Kirakosyan, first emphasized the importance of establishing the service and emphasized that it is the most serious reform in the forestry sector, then he informed the attendees about who will work and what functions will be performed before the process of staffing the eco-patrol service, so that the protection of forests at this stage and be properly implemented.
