Chairman of the Forest Committee, Mr. Vladimir Kirakosyan, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Vardan Sargsyan, Director of “Hayantar” SNCO, Mr. Sevak Markosyan visited Lori, Tavush, Gegharkunik and Kotayk marzes to hold end year meetings with the heads of “Forestry” branches located in those marzes.

During these meetings, the current activities and existing issues were presented to the leaders of the Forest Committee. Possible solutions were suggested.

The preliminary plans of the works to be carried out in 2024 were discussed and in that context the main emphasis was directed to the presentation of the clear distribution of the functions and activities of the employees due to the creation of the eco-patrol service.

Chairman of the Forest Committee, Mr. Vladimir Kirakosyan, first emphasized the importance of the creation of the Eco-Patrol Service and mentioned that it is the most serious reform in the forestry sector, then he presented to the employees of forestry, who will work and what functions will be performed before the process of staffing the eco-patrol service, so that the protection of forests is and the work process will proceed smoothly.

Regional visits will continue in the coming days, there will also be visits to specially protected nature areas.
