On June 26 of this year, aviation-biological combat measures were launched in the forests.

❗️ In the previous years, the aviation fight was carried out by chemical means, and this year a transition was made to biological ones. This type of struggle is aimed at a deeper struggle against the development of diseases and the reproduction of pests, ensuring a long-term result.

The measures will be implemented in the forest areas infested with pests and other diseases of Vayots Dzor, Aragatsotn and Hrazdan branches of “Haynatar” SNOC of the Forestry Committee of the Ministry of Environment, according to the following schedule:

📌 Vayots Dzor “Forestry” branch of “Hayantar” SNOC of the Forestry Committee, in the area of 1200 ha – 26.06.2023 – 27.06.2023,

📌Aragatsot “Forestry” branch of “Hayantar” SNOC of the Forestry Committee, in the area of 1320 ha – 28.06.2023 – 30.06.2023,

📌 Hrazdan “Forestry” branch of “Hayantar” SNOC of the Forestry Committee, in the area of 1600 ha – 01.07.2023 – 03.07.2023.

It is recommended to avoid collecting mushrooms, plants and berries for 3 days after the end of the control measures.

During the implementation of the works, it is necessary to close the hives of the bee colonies.
