(COP15) the delegation led by the president visited the nursery of “Hrazdan Forestry” branch of “Hayantar” SNCO: named tree planting activity was carried out

Minister of Environment Mr. Hakob Simidyan, invited the delegation led by the President of the 15th Conference of the Parties (COP15) of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) Alian Richard Donvahy arrived in Armenia.

As part of the visit, a conference entitled “United for the land, our heritage is our future” was organized on May 14, after which the delegation visited the nursery of the “Hrazdan Forestry” branch, where they got acquainted with the works, tree species, discussed the production possibilities of SNCO and Opportunities to cooperate within the framework of the increase of forested areas and afforestation programs in Armenia.

After the tour of the nursery, COP15 President Alian Richard Donvahi and Deputy Minister Aram Meimaryan planted named trees.
